GROUND BREAKING TCAT ENGINEERING MASTERCLASS SCOOPS ANOTHER NATIONAL AWARD!

The United Utilities Engineering Masterclass is unique in that it enables students from Warrington high Schools to work closely alongside engineers from the water giant for over 4 months on a real world project to solve water problems in the utilities sector.

The annual awards celebrate excellence in the Utilities sector, with the winners announced at a glittering black-tie dinner at Hilton Birmingham Metropole on 20 May 2019.

The TCAT/United utilities partnership beat off stiff competition from across the UK and was recognised by the panel of expert judges as ‘ a project that is the first of its kind in the UK to create a formal partnership between Industry and a multi academy trust, that set out to develop industry-led, education-inspired project-learning from across the various STEM disciplines. It is unique and the model is one that other companies across the UK would do well to emulate’
