Our organisation has received the prestigious STEM Assured quality mark.

This is a government backed quality mark that no other school in the UK has achieved. It recognised the best quality opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths that are offered to the students. It’s usually found in colleges and Universities.

To achieve the STEM Assured status, education providers (schools, colleges, universities) are assessed against a robust framework that benchmarks their capability to design and deliver STEM courses that keep pace with emerging technology and the evolving needs of employers.

Along with being STEM Assured, FabLab Warrington and Beamont Collegiate Academy have been recognised as a 'STEM-sational School' by All About STEM, the team behind The Big Bang North West!

This can be on basic tooling or make use of more specialist equipment such as the 3D printers and laser cutter.

We can even send out our guys to you – in a recent project – year 4’s learned how to code in Minecraft, then they used CAD software to design a T-shirt based on their coding. Finally they printed a T-shirt to take home with their image on. This was a 6 week project with only an hour a week. Here’s what their teacher had to say ‘’
