How do I join the Lab?

Please email and ask for access details.


Can I 3D print my designs in the Lab?

Yes, as a Member of the FabLab you have access to all of our 3D printers providing you have completed our basic machine safety induction.


Is the FabLab open at weekends?

We are only open to the general public from 9am to 4pm on Saturdays and 3pm to 8pm on Thursdays and we offering completely free access to equipment.  Outside these hours we are able to organize special events but we host lots of school groups so please email well in advance. Certain big projects may be given 6 day access to the FabLab – contact us if you think your project is suitable.


Do you provide free access?

Yes we offering completely free access to the lab at the moment for the public, but we plan to introduce a membership structure starting in Summer 2017. The only charges are for commercial projects. Contact us to ask any questions which we would be happy to help with.


What can I make at the FabLab?

Wow. We have a laser cutter, lots of 3D Printers, textiles and embroidery lab, toolshed, small CNC, large CNC, lathe, drill pillar, a shed full of hand tools, lots of electronics, robots, Drones, coding know how, heaps of materials and oodles of ideas. You can make almost anything! You can bring images, ideas, drawings and CAD designs which the staff can assist you in becoming a reality.


Can I hire the FabLab for a corporate event?

Yes, we have a 500sq.m event space with full AV, WiFi and sound system. We can provide our space as a blank canvas, or we are very happy to create an experience for you using all the machines in the lab. Find out more


Can you make something for me?

Yes, we can make almost anything in the FabLab. We have a developing team of designers, engineers, artists, software engineers and makers in the lab. We work on commissioned projects from companies, agencies and product business. We help startups build their ideas into working prototypes and have a network of contacts to manufacture at scale. Can I cut PVC or Vinyl on the laser cutter?

We have a vinyl cutter and printer. Speak to our team before you do.
