Community Access - The FabLab is for everyone!

Completely free access until Summer 2017! Why wait?

Every Thursday evening and all day Saturday we throw open our doors to anyone who can use our FabLab equipment! There’s no need to book - just turn up and we’ll do the rest.

Once you have completed a short health and safety course you will have access to all of our equipment including 3D printers, a ShopBot CNC , a laser cutter, a vinyl cutter and the help and advice of all our highly trained FabLab staff.

We also run regular bookable training sessions on robotics, coding in several languages, 3D Design, CAD CAM, Raspberry Pi, BBC Microbit, Minecraft…the list never ends! These are calendared and places are in demand so book early to avoid disappointment. See the events page for more information.

Everyone is welcome but if you’re under 16 you need to be supervised by an adult. If you are under 16 and don’t have an adult to bring, contact us and we may be able to help you out.

We work extensively with school and community groups from across the North West. We welcome school groups and can plan activities in advance to meet your needs. Please contact by email to discuss arrangements.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
